Why we support the Princess Máxima Center

At La Luz Kids, I find it very important to teach my own child that not everything in life is guaranteed. That you can always do something for someone else, no matter how small that gesture may be. It brings strength and hope, and that is what I want to share. When I received a message from Lars, a boy fighting a brain tumor, and heard his story of strength and perseverance, it deeply moved me. Lars received a power bracelet with “I am strong,” and that small gesture gave him and his family so much strength.

These stories have strengthened my mission: I want to mean something for children who are ill, but also for children who are struggling for other reasons. This includes children who have difficulties at school, have divorced parents, feel anxious, or simply need support. That is why I have developed a special collection for children who are fighting cancer or other challenges.
